MAPCHA Membership
Eligibility:
Your Interest In Progress and Prosperity
According to MAPCHA's by-laws, all "Persons, firms, associations,
government agencies and corporations in good standing in the community
and who have an interest in the progress and prosperity of the
Port of Charleston are eligible" for membership.
Reasons For Joining:
To Your Advantage
The most pressing issues related to the Port's operations and development
can be addressed through MAPCHA's committee structure. Members are encouraged
to participate in the committee(s) of interest to them. From internal,
administrative matters such as membership and long-range planning, to major issues
like port operations and marketing, legislative affairs, intermodal
transportation, dredging and many others, everyone can find a way to contribute.

Annual Dues:
Individual Membership- $250.00
Individual Membership is limited to a single individual
or an individual who has just started a small business.
The small business designation will be valid for two years,
with a move to a Corporate Membership necessary the third year.
Corporate Membership- $500.00
A Corporate Membership entitles a business, association or
government agency to up to four individual memberships and
special recognition in MAPCHA publications.
Sustaining Membership- $1500.00
A Sustaining Membership entitles a business to at least five
individual membership. High profile recognition is given to
members through the year and special events are held in their honor.
Gadsden Membership- $3000.00
This membership entitles a business to at least six individual
memberships.High profile recognition is given to members through
the year. The Membership includes a table for ten at The Annual
Meeting and Gala and a Foursome and Hole Sponsorship at The Maritime
Association Golf Tournament.
